I was gifted the R100 with two lenses for Christmas, RF-S18-45mm F4.5-6.3 IS STM and RF-S55-210mm F5-7.1 IS STM. I am very new to this with no experience before this camera but I have found that seriously love taking photos! I was asked to take photos at an event that is in a smaller space. There are lots of windows so lighting is not an issue. Would one of the lenses I currently have work for this space? If not, what budget friendly lens would be best for the small space?

Yes, between the two lenses you have, you work within tight spaces (RF-S 18-45 mm) or for things at greater distances (RF-S 55-210mm)

Take both lenses.
The 18-45 should be ideal for single and group shots. If you will be at some distance, then the 55-210.
The size of the space as "smaller" doesn't give enough clarity to be more specific.
My gut tells me 18-45.
