Hello, I have just recently acquired a canon T7 rebel and looking for suggestions for a lens to take photos of wildlife and airplanes at airshows. Any thoughts for a type of lens that would give me good magnification would be greatly appreciated.
thank you in advance

you don't mention a budget and for the most part any decent zoom is going to be greater then the value of your T7 but both of these are nice lenses.
Tamron SP 150-600 Di VC USD G2 or the Sigma 150-600mm f/5-6.3. Look at MPB or KEH to find a good used lens. I own the Sigma 60-600mm and it weighs a ton but I personally love the range. I've used it @ 60mm for landscapes and some portraiture but it's not everyone's cup of tea.

ANY EF or EF-S mount lens works on your T7. There are many "long" lenses from Canon, Tamron and Sigma.
You get to decide how much focal length you want and can pay for. You can also find lots on the used market. MPB.com, UsedPhotoPro.com and KEH.com are three good used dealers.
