I've seen some discussion of printer compatibility with ARM but most of the post are last year, or earlier Can someone tell me what printer is compatible? I'm ready to purchase because I know my MX922 is not, but I can't get any good info from Canon site, Google, Amazon, etc.

You need to look at Canon Support for any printer you are interested in to see if there's an ARM driver.
Canon does not seem to care to address the ARM-compatibility problem by writing new drivers. And they aren't going to advertise their ARM incompatibilities. It's a sad situation for people who want to use Canons.

This is the list of Canon Arm compatible printers, installation instructions are also on this support page the MX922 is listed as compatible in the drop down MX column.

Canon is using the term "compatible" loosely. Windows 11 on an ARM computer will use a built-in generic driver to make printers work, but the Canon drivers for X64/AMD/Intel-equipped computers will NOT install on ARM computers. So you do not get all the functionality you'd expect.
