I went to use my Webcam but my subscription was cut off overnight. I updated payment method with no results. I tried calling in to fix it. Canon was closed at 3 pm my time. Why can't I manually make a payment so I can use my Webcam? There's no reason for it solely to be automated besides wasting users time. Just like there's no reason I should have to register for canon to use it and then have a separate registration to ask a question about a product. It's an insulting waste of time.
The new update refuses to install because of errors with the previous. Tell me why I don't go out and buy a higher resolution Webcam for $30 that doesn't force a subscription purchase to use it without the app forcing the resolution to be lower. My bad for expecting 1080p when I use a canon camera as my webcam in the year 2025. It's not like phones now shoot in 4K. Oh wait...they do

Hi,
If you login to your MyCanon account and click on My Subscriptions you can update your billing information there. You don't have to speak to anyone and you can do it. 24 x 7

I said I did that in my 2nd sentence. I changed the card I was using. Apparently that's not a working solution

Greetings,
There are two places where you can update your credit card information. You can do it in your MyCanon account, or in the webcam utility pro application itself.
My apologies, but I don't see where you said that you logged into your MyCanon account and selected my subscriptions in your initial post? I'm sure this is obvious to you, but I can only offer suggestions based on the information being provided.
You can call support at 800-652-2666. It's possible the new credit card has to be verified so it may be fixed by the time you read this. Canon is very serious about fraud and security.
The webcam utility was quickly thrown together by Canon developers during covid. The pro version was spawned from this due to the large volume of requests from people wanting a more powerful utility that included multi-camera and wireless support. I think higher resolution was also added. I hope you get this solved quickly. 🙂
