Rebel T6i low framerate through the Webcam utility.

I'm using the Webcam utility through OBS and the video has a fairly low framerate. Does anyone know why that would be happening?

Try reducing the resolution of the movie video signal.  Turn the articulating screen around to face the subject.

Im having the same issue ..

In OBS, using the built in WebCam .. usage is at about 3%..

The second I select a source using Canon Web Utility .. it rises to 30%, and when I start recording around 50%. Hence, causing a very laggy video.

Same here! I don't think it's an issue caused by the PC setup, since other webcam are delivering even higher framerates/resolution.

Has anyone tryed different USB port (3.0) or cable? Or even reinstalling the EOS utility?
