Installation of EOS Webcam Pro (2.3.29) on Mac Fails due to Security Policy

Hello,

I am running a MacBook Pro ( Sequoia 15.5 ) and am having issues with the EOS WebCam Pro Utility freezing.  I completely uninstalled everything as a first step and am now trying to reinstall the latest version.  My installation fails due to the Security Policy.  My Laptop is a work managed laptop and has the security policy set and I cannot change it.  However, it is set as "Allow Applications from "App store & Known Developers".

My IT department wants me to verify if the EOS Webcam Pro Software is indeed "App Store & Known Developers" certified by Apple.

please advise.

thank you,

James

I believe I have figured this out.  It was not related to the allow applications, but i needed to enable the appropriate EOS camera (EWCCamerExtension) from the extension screen.  The default window that pops up when you select "next" when installing the EOS Camera Pro software shows the wrong location.  This is resolved.

Glad someone got it working correctly, my camera still freezes up. Never get a error message or anything and it happens randomly. May be time to start looking at alternatives like Sony
