EOS Webcam Utility connection error between Camera (70D) and OBS (on a macbook)

Hey, All

I have been unable to figure why my Canon 70D is not connecting to OBS Studio through EOS Webcam Utility. Every time I try and connect I get this screen below. I am wondering if anyone else has run into this issue and also hoping for some advice.

Hi,

If your computer was updated to Mac OS 11 Big Sur, the EOS Webcam Utility has not been updated for compatibility yet. Otherwise, I would make sure the camera is set to movie mode before connecting the USB cable to the computer. Have you been able to transfer photos to the computer through teh USB connection?

That little red symbol on the screen means no camera has been detected as being connected to any of the USB port(s).  Make sure that you have Wi-Fi disabled in the camera.  You must use the USB connection to your computer.

Finally, make sure that your computer meets BOTH the hardware and software prerequisites.
