I have a hard time seeing the use of a preview when previous iterations of the software didn't even have the preview. It's taking up unnecessary CPU power and there should be an option to disable it not just decrease the quality of it.
I am not sure what you mean, but you need to go to the Canon USA website and click on the teeny tiny feedback button for it to be seen by the right people
