EOS 7D: EOS Webcam Utility Not Working. No picture at all

I have a Canon EOS 7D plugged in using USB2.0 and I’m trying to use it as a web cam in OBS. My PC immediately detects the camera when I plug it in. The software says a camera has been successfully connected. However no picture at all. It just says EOS Webcam utility. I made sure the camera is in video mode. I closed the EOS software. Nothing works. Is there anyone who can help me

Hello thanks for responding. I am using Windows 11. After doing a boat load of research last night. I discovered that EOS webcam utility no longer supports the EOS 7D mark 1. This is highly unfortunate. It would seem there is no way to use it as a webcam without having the cameras hud being in the frame
