Canon M50 won't connect to EOS Webcam Utility Pro

I can't get the M50 to feed into the EOS Webcam Utility Pro.

The steps I took:

1. Downloaded the latest version of the software
2. Paid for a pro subscription account
3. Signed in on the local software
4. Connected the camera via USB
5. Turned camera on and put in video mode

When I do this, I see a computer icon on the camera viewfinder screen for about 10 seconds, then it goes back to the live preview. I try to select EOS M50 as the source to one of the scenes, but it shows the screen I attached — a usb icon with a red X above it.

Additional information:

• Mac OS v15.7.2
• EOS Webcam Utility Pro v2.3.55'
• EOS M50 Firmware v1.1.0

Additional steps I've taken:

• Plug USB into a hub and directly into the computer
• Update firmware to v1.1
• Remove all other camera utilities and restart
