Coming from NZ, I am not familiar with the term "a Jones", although I remember it's a lyric in a Boz Scaggs song! I guess it means want? I have to admit that I got a couple of Fuji X-T4's - I was attracted to their classic controls, but also understood they were great cameras in their own right. I got the XF-16-85 lens, plus the Tamron 18-300: which, like the Canon 24-240, is a brilliant lens. I would normally shy away from a super zoom lens with such a big range, particularly as wide as 18mm, but after much research, I got one and have to say it's a brilliant piece of glass.
Absolutely, I have 'a Jones' for a R7, I have been waiting for an upgrade on my 7DII for some time. I would expect all the focus, IBIS, and tracking features of the R6, plus a stacked and back-lit sensor would be nice!
