Send it to Canon. Seriously, they are the only ones that can get you the true count. Any other way the count can be and often is wrong.

ML got it correct when I compared the shutter count from Canon Japan last year. 6D and 7D.

Canon shutter count. Search for that. web pages where you need to upload a raw file doesn't work with 1300D.

I do not see the point. A shutter is going to fail whenever it gets good and ready to fail.

You've got an entry level camera in the 1300D. Worry more about learning DSLR photography, all the camera settings and functions, and how to use a post processor like Canon's DPP software. Those are of far greater importance than knowing what the shutter count is. Have fun with photography!
