I took over 500 photos. They were on the card as I was scrolling through them throughtout the night. I came home removed the card from the camera and plug it into the card reader. No photos showed up. I put it back in the camera and the photos were not viewable. I then took one photo and then plugged it back into card reader and that one photo showed up, I'm freaking out. I tried a recovery program I bought. Only a few photos showed up and it looks like ones that I had deleted in camera. There were a few more that came up and they had a name of xmg file and were not good. They opened up but very little and blurry.

That happened once to me with a Lexar CF card. I sent the card back to Lexar and they were able to recover the photos for me. They sent me back a CD with the photos at no cost.
Since then I only use Sandisk cards and have never had another problem.
