Hi there,
First time at a forum, I'm looking for some advice on my EOS 7D. I only seme to be able to control the shutter or use the camera on auto. Anyone had any experience of this? I bought it second-hand a few years ago but I haven't used it that much.
No bangs or drops or water damage to my knowledge.
Just got a quote for an investigation which is £95 plus VAT before any repairs or parts. Feel as though I might as well order a new /second hand 7D body!
Can anyone offer any advice?
Thanks
Vicky

Try changing the clock battery, it's a little CR1616 lithium battery located in the side of the main battery housing. Instructions on how to do this are in the user manual or at various places online.
