Hello
I hope that I am right in this forum-subject.
Does sombody have experience with this item? How do you see the image when looking through the OVF of your 5D MkIII FF Camera?
Best regards, Alex

The EP-EX15 does not fit the 5D Mk III. There are 3rd party alternatives for the 7D and 1D Mk IV which also fit the 5D Mk III.
More info here: Eyepiece extender for the 5D mark III?

No it definitely fits according to the Canon information:
http://www.canon.de/For_Home/preislisten/
There you can see tables that show the 5D Mk III. I must beliefe that this Info is correct as it is from Canon . . .

Unfortunately the German site is wrong. It is impossible for the EP-EX 15 II to fit both the 5D Mk II and the 5D Mk III as they have very different sized eyepieces.
The Canon USA compatibility list is much more accurate: Eyepiece Extender EP-EX15 II
B&H Photo also gives the correct compatibility: Canon EP-EX15 II Eyepiece Extender for Select Canon DSLRs

I must say that this sounds plausible . . .
Unfortunately I have ordered it already.

Now you have an excuse to buy a 5D Mk II as a back up camera.
