corrupt movie files

I used a Rebel T 5 as a stationary camera for some music performances. All of the files showed up on the flash card but over half showed that there was spaced being used on the card but the length of the clip was absent. None of these clips will play. I have tried software and renamed clips to no avail. Any suggestions.

First question:

What exactly was the card you were using?

The mark of good photographer is less what they hold in their hand, it's more what they hold in their head;
"All the variety, all the charm, all the beauty of life is made up of light and shadow", Leo Tolstoy;
"Skill in photography is acquired by practice and not by purchase" Percy W. Harris

I believe it was an Extreme Pro Sandisc 64 G or a Lextar XC 2, 128 G

Your memory cards may be the problem. You should only use UHS-I memory cards. Use the only the full size cards. For some reason, My T5 did not like the big capacity SDXC memory cards. Stick to 32GB, or less.
