cf card adapters.

I have had a lot of issues with card adapters in camera. Mainly micro sd card adapters after a short period of shooting. I bought a cf card adapter for my 7d and it worked for a while but recently corrupted a lot of images has any one had similar problems with these? It seems card adapters in DSLRs do not work very well at all.

I've never used a card adapter in a camera, but quite a few readers of this forum have reported experiences similar to yours. And several of our regular contributors have denounced adapters as unreliable. The card is a mission-critical part of one's equipment. It doesn't make sense to risk everything on a device whose only advantage is that it may save you a little money.
