can I record with the t5?

Isn't there a small button with a red circle next to it right by the viewfinder?  Yes, that is it.

I figured it out and that I have to turn the selector to the Movie" icon and press the red button next to the view finder.  I feel so silly but thank u so much for responding and I am sure I will have more questions and I hope u can help me with this camera.
