My guess is no as they've moved on to the t7i. I'm sure there has to be some features and fixes that the t6i could benefit from.

With the DSLR market so mature, they rarely add features by firmware update anymore.

New firmware usually corrects bugs. New features, not likely. That is called a T7i update !

It wouldn't be unheard of. The 7D, for example, had a major update that added features. But I guess it would be less likely in a Rebel.
