Why my 5d record all my shot black?Even live mode the screen is black?Screen works properly.

• When I'm shooting the cam record black shots, live mode stay black and video mode as well, 

Screen works properly cause I'm able to see the menu.

When I look at the shot on my computer,  it is just complete black pics like if nothing as been recorded.

Please help

What mode are you in? Try green square. Did you take the lens cap off?

Do you have any EXIF data from one of the blacked-out image files? It might be helpful if you could post a sample image or at least the EXIF data here. Shooting in daylight? Indoors? With or without a flash?

Do you mean the first generation 5D or 5D Classic or 5D mark I ?

There is no liveview feature on this old camera.
