Where’s everybody buying from?

Hey Y’all! Looking into buying a Canon 6D and I just wanted to see where everyone is buying their bodies and lenses from. Also any possible buyer bewares or tips when building a new kit. I used the 6D for projects in university but have only ever been a hobbiest with an old rebel ti2. Now I am interested in making it more of a side-gig. TIA!

Greetings,

If you have your heart set on a 6D, then KEH is probably your best option.  B&H, Adorama and LensRentals also have reputable used sales depts.

Do you own any Full Frame EF lenses. If you own any APS-C EF-S lenses THEY WILL NOT MOUNT. EF-S is made to be incompatible with EOS Film bodies and Full Frame Digital bodies. The EOS 6D is an older camera. But they can still be found used. The EF Mount has been replaced by the RF Mount. So more and more EF lenses are being discontinued. Switching to a mirrorless camera would be a better choice. Also using native RF Mount lenses too.

I have bought most of my gear from B&H Photo to include using their used department once (though for non-electronics; lighting brackets that were no longer being manufactured).   Also purchased directly from Canon.   Did get one or two items from Adorama.
