What is your rating of the EOS 1100D?

I just got the 1100D from my dad. I didn't have much time to photograph things, but I want to know, hoe the community rates it.

I do not believe it is still supported by Canon Ssrvice.  I’d rate it as obsolete.

@akshay7646,

Greetings.  Yes, its obsolete by today's standards 12 yrs old. End of life and no longer supported.  It was a (low end) hobbyist grade body and sells for under $100 used.  It captures 12MP photos, has 9 point AF and has very limited low light capability.  I would not spend any money on it.  In truth any newer iPhone, Pixel or Samsung can take nicer photos than it will.

I'm thinking this thread is going to end up being SPAM? I'm seeing patterns with this thread along with Want to buy a new camera as a beginner.

Usernames both ending in 7646.  Both with first time posts today.  Typos in post.  Both mentioning an older camera with 4 digits in its number.

Thanks for pointing that out, Ricky, though as of this writing, neither of the posts in question violate any of our rules.  We'll keep an eye out, just in case.  Until then, thanks for continuing to help out your fellow photographers!
