EOS R6 Mark III Huge slider covering rated images

Ability to browse filtered / rated only images was a reason I bought canon R6 mk3 . ( I'm professional headshot shooter )
But unfortunately it is (almost ) unusable
Because of HUGE slider covering 20 % of the image -
in strategic part of EVERY reviewed picture first 2 seconds +
I can get rid of all other info ( placed on edges ) using info button
but this USELESS nagging stays för 2 seconds for every image
- making it impossible to toggle / compare face expressions .

Anyone found a solution for this ?
I understand canon has plenty of beta testers - NO one complaining  about this ?
OK _ maybe they are just influencers 🙂

To guarantee that Canon engineers see this, go to the Canon USA homepage and look for the little [+]feedback button. Click that and send your feedback. You will need to register with Canon first, though.

I don't have the camera, but I see that you can switch the review off, and also select Hold, which I don't think would help.

Have you tried moving the slider with the joystick, or with the touchscreen?  It seems that an overlay like this should be moveable or even resize-able.

Greetings,

This is kind of interesting.  I've never used the rating system on my camera, in DPP or DxO.  If may differ slightly since my body is older.  I'll try to see if the slider can be moved on my camera.

In any event use my college's @kvbarkley suggestion to leave +[F]eedback.

Unfortunately the slider is semi - dumb - only shows position relative to all rated images
( joystick will not work ) Rated images can be browsed only by dial close to shutter
( and this needs to be setup - You can also setup to jump every x amount of images and more )

Rating in camera is transfered to Lightroom / Brideg / Photoshop

very important if you shoot people and want to hear their opinion / what they like

I recommend checking the Playback Info settings.  This screenshot is from the R6ii manual.

Thanks - of course I've been there - unfortunately there is no checkmark for removing the huge slider blob while
browsing rated images - note that this slider is not showing on every image while browsing images one and one
Toggling info doesn't improve the situation much ...
previous sample was with. info cleared.
