I used to shoot with two R5Cs and had a custom button set to toggle View Assist on and off. Since switching to the new R6 Mark III, I can’t find the same option in video mode. It seems to work in photo mode, but in video you have to go back into the menu.
Does anyone know a workaround? Or is it possible that this feature isn’t available yet and might be added in a future firmware update?

Hello snowhideto,
I have to say that you are correct, unfortunately. The EOS R6 Mark III does not currently provide an option to customize a button for [View assist] while in video recording mode.
