Video recording in EOS R7 in h.264 format

Hi All

I have a Canon EOS R7 camera and I wanted to ask how can I record videos in 4F, 50 FPS in h.264 codec format?  Currently my camera records these videos in HEVC format which I have trouble playing back on some devices.  Many thanks.

Depending on the settings you choose on the camera, it will record in H.264 / MPEG-4 AVC or H.265 / HEVC.

• H.264 recording when HDR PQ is disabled and C-log is not used
• H.265 recording when HDR PQ is enabled and / or C-log is used

If you have HEVC format files then you must have had HDR PQ enabled or recorded in C-log.
