Un-Clean HDMI Output When Recording with EOS R7 with Elgato Cam Link

Hello,

We are currently using an EOS R7 to film a virtual podcast. We also use Cam Link 4K to act as the connection from the camera to our recording platform [Removed 3rd party links per Community Guidelines]. However, when we start recording all the information on the viewfinder stays on the screen for the actual recording. We might have thought this was a "clean HDMI" issue but we cannot find the option to turn that on in the options menu. If there is something we are missing we would love a solution thanks!

Your camera is set to A+ automatic mode on the mode dial, you will probably need to turn to P mode and then you will find the option for clean HDMI output it is labelled HDMI display choose the option for camera and HDMI display and then you will have clean output.
