Hello everyone, I’ve changed the settings on my EOS R7 and enabled Canon Log (C-Log3). Now, I can’t open the video files that were recorded with C-Log enabled. However, when I disable C-Log, I can open the new videos without any issues. I’m transferring the data through the EOS Utility app, but I’ve also tried transferring it directly to the laptop with the same result. Can someone please help me?

What software are you using to open them?
Did you download the LUT's from Canon?

I was trying to open the files using Media Player, Windows Player, and similar programs, but after you mentioned LUTs, I tried opening them in Premiere Pro, and it worked. Beginners mistake, thank you 🙂

Exactly, you need to process them before you can open them with any media player. Even with video editors, no all of them can open those files.

C-Log *requires* post processing, and is not for someone who wants to quickly post their video.
