T6i Flash not firing

On T6i, have auto-flash on. Won't fire even in the darkest room on auto and i cannot seem to get it to manually fire during Av, P, or even M mode. 

Camera is two weeks old. Flash does pop up in auto mode but doesn't trigger. Can manually pop it up in the other modes, still no triggering.

Try to reset the camera. It is Menu->wrench4->clear settings

Nope, no change so far.

Call Canon technical support, they can help you determine if it is really the camera and whether it needs to be repaired.

repaired it was. Guess I got a bad camera 😞

I only have 3 wrenches, but am having the same trouble as demongarik.

Put the camera in P mode.
