Hello. Can anyone tell me if the Canon T6 rebel kit lens is compatible with a Canon 70D camera. I currently have the T6 and am looking to get a 70D. If my T6 lens will work I will save money by only needing the 70D body. I couldn’t find a straight forward answer online. Thanks in advance.

What kit lens do you have? EF-S 18-55mm perhaps? Your 70D camera can use both EF-S and EF lenses.

Any lens that will fit the T6 will fit the 70D.
The camera manuals on the internet give you that info.

If you buy a 70D. Be sure its serial number doesn't fall in this range:
Canon U.S.A., Inc. | Product Advisory Detail Page
There are many 70D's out there alive a well. There are also a number whose PCB failed due to excessive heat prompting a recall by Canon.
