T6 Video - Can I manually set shutter and aperture?

I am using a Canon T6 to shoot some video. I cannot find any settings that will allow me to set shutter speed and aperture. Is this possible in video mode? If not, what does the camera default to?

Yes, you can manually set shutter and aperture, but the manual exposure settings have to be activated in the movie record menu while in video mode .

Just follow the directions in the User Manual on page 162.
