Hello,
I am relatively new to photography and was practicing nighttime shots for the first time. I have an EOS Rebel T6. I had the camera set on a 10-second timer, 30-second shutter speed, aperture F22, ISO 3200.
When I hit the picture button nothing happened, I bought it into my house which had a light on and it worked, turned around and went outside nothing! When the lens had light in front of it, it worked. Outside in darkness, it would not.
Any suggestions
Charlie

It sounds like you have insufficient light to enable the autofocus to work, all you can do in that case is use manual focus.

Thank You,
I agree with you, I was doing more reading about it. I'll give it a shot tonight and see if it works.
