Hi all, new to the forums. I have a t5i with latest firmware. I do a lot of time exposures at night. It seems that the processing time for the exposure is the same as the exposure time. IE, it takes 60 seconds to process a 60 second exposure. I have the camera set to L smooth, 18mp 5184x 3456. Is this long processing time a normal thing? My T4i, set to the same parameters, processes the images within seconds. The cards are the same and are verified as high speed.
Thanks for any insight you can offer.

Your camera takes a black frame to remove hot pixels. Turn off Long exposure noise reduction.
