Yesterday my T5i was working perfectly. Today I pulled it out and selected video and the screen displayed a colorful static.
The whole camera froze up and I couldn't do anything on it. Once I took the battery out, I was able to turn it to still camera mode and take pictures. But when I turned to video it froze again.
I reset all the settings I could find and when I tried again this is the screen I got. The touchscreen settings still worked, but it would not display an image or actually record. I get the same colored static if I try to go to live mode in the still camera setting.
Any ideas on how to fix this?
