T3i and USB connectivity

Hi All,

I have a T3i about 2 years old.  No problems until a couple of months ago when my computer stopped recognizing when the T3i was plugged in.  I tried a couple of different USB cables but still no success.  I have checked the USB ports on the computer and they work fine with the cables and USB flash drives.  I even tried another computer and the T3i was not recognized.  I can remove the SD card and use a card reader to upload photos to the computer(s).  All functions on the T3i appear to be okay.  So it appears that the USB port on the T3i has gone "bad".

Has anyone had a similar issue.  If so, how did you resolve it?
