T3i aeb

When I go into the menu, Expo.comp./AEB, I can use the left and right arrow keys to change the exposure compensation. but if I turn the dial to try to set aeb, the menu disappears completely and I'm taken back out to the main info screen, where turning the dial would change the aperture or shutter speed. What am I doing wrong?

Well. I have a Vivitar "viv-pg-t5i' battery grip on the camera, that apparently breaks the aeb function of the dial. If I remove the grip, the dial does what it's supposed to do.

Well done on figuring out the solution on your own and for reporting it back here. It may save somebody else some head scratching. I'd sat that deserves a "Kudo"!

Further proof that sometimes some third-party accessories, while mostly quite functional, may not be the bargain they appear to be.
