I have a T3i and one issue that has bugged me for quite some time is the video output size. Despite it saying 1920x1080 on the size in the menu the camera outputs/saves the .mov movie files as 1920x1088 as it appears in the file properties in windows 7. When import to PowerDirector it shows those extra pixels as thin vertical lines on either side of the video. I've seen this asked about but never resolved, so perhaps someone could provide some input so I can finally resolve this. I hope it's something rather trivial and not something wrong with the camera! Thanks!

T3i has 1728 x 1156 upscaled to 1920 x 1080. I got the same problem with a 6D and raw files. I sent a message to Darktable and the people behind Darktable made the software to remove the lines.

Thanks for your help, so there is no solution to this?

PowerDirector may have an answer if you ask.
Would you like to upload a small sample (5 seconds) of your original video and a print screen of it from your software?
