Support Request: Unable to register my Canon EOS R50 (Serial number already registered)

need assistance with registering my new camera. I recently purchased a #Canon EOS R50 (RF-S18-45 STM Black kit), but I am encountering an error during the product registration process on your platform

When I input the serial number and try to submit, a message pops up stating: "The serial number is already registered, if you think this is a mistake, please contact customer support."

However, as shown in the second attached screenshot, my "My Cano

n Products" dashboard remains completely empty, and no products are displayed under my profile.

You probably bought a return that had already been registered. You need to call Canon.

Note that the error does not say that it is registered to *you*.
