I have a 7d with the 70-200 IS lens and love taking sports.
My question is related to picture quality vs. shutter speeds.
With plenty of sun light I am able to crank up speeds to 1/8000 sec. but am wondering if I sacrafice quality at those speeds if I do manage to get a shot that I want to enlarge.
Thx

Thx for replying. Yes I am shooting the 7d not FF. I buy all my equip. used on craigslist so the 17-40 was yes expensive but not holy crap I messed up expensive! I have not taken one shot with that lens that I thought didn't look weird to me. Live and learn and hopefully there is someone who has a need for this? The other option is another prime, maybe a 35mm but like I said I really want the 70-200mm IS ver.2
Never satisfied are we?
