Hi everyone,
I bought my first DSLR a year ago and I'd like to try and take advantage of the fog to take pictures of the fields around my house. I have a Canon rebel T7i and I know it doesn't have weather-proof. So I'm wondering, could I seriously damage my camera if I go out there and take pictures for a couple of hours ? I've read people saying it would cause no problems and others asserting that it could ruin the equipment.
What do you guys think ? Would it be too risky ?
Thanks for your help.

A dense fog shouldn't bother your camera...
Agreed! Go out and shoot away. What good is a camera if you can't or don't use it?

Of course if you are still too worried, you can learn how to use Photoshop. It will probably do a better job anyway!

Hello. Filming in fog should not damage the camera, but condensation - maybe they wrote about the raincoat above. as for me the best protection in this situation. I remember when I was doing a photo-essay for Best-EssayWriter.com on the topic of World War II and participated in the reconstruction of a tank battle - then my old 5d mark2 was all in a swamp, I was all in a swamp, but clear water for us helped ...

I'm weather sealed, but this has gone into light rain and survived. I had one on my T6s and now on my 6D2.
Easy Cover for T7i
$30, available from B&H. If its super drippy wet fog, you better go with the bread bag or rain shield the guys mentioned.
