Hi wegriffin8642!
Both cards will work in the camera. When it comes down to picking a brand of card, some folks go for a brand they have heard of and others will go for the cheaper brand.
We hope this helps!

Hi wegriffin8642!
The EOS Rebel T6i can use SD/SDHC/SDXC cards. It is also compatible with SDHC and SDXC that are labels UHS-1.The brand of SD card doesn't matter, but we have found some of the name brands (SanDisk, Lexar, and Kingston) seem to work better.
We hope this helps!

Crista,
Thanks for the quick response. Your advice is appreciated. On Amazon (I'm an Amazon junkie) I found Lexar 64GB 95MS/s 633x cards and PNY Elite Performance 64GB 95MB/s---both class 10 cards and was undecided which to choose.
