The after market remote I purchased for my 60D works well is still mode, but won't activate videos.
Has anyone found a model that starts/stops video recordings?

Although I don't own a 60D myself, I know for a fact that the CamRanger allows recording in movie mode, including focusing while shooting. I love it on the 5D Mk.III. You should check it out.
