The Xti was. discontinued over 10 years ago, and there is no "XT8".

As of this writing, Adorama has a Canon Rebel T8i Kit with EF-S 18-55mm f/4.5 - f/5.6 IS STM in stock.

Amazon shows them in stock at the Canon Store, sold by amazon.com, not a marketplace supplier.

Thanks I did see it on Amazon. Looks like to me $200 up charge. Guess I need to determine how much I should spend now versus later IF Canon releases some new inventory. Thanks again!

Package deals tend to cheap out on everything else but the body. You tend to get the EF 75 to 300 mm zoom which is not a good lens, and all the other filters and geegaws are not really worth it.
