I recently purchased a used Rebel 200d. I planned to use an EF-S 17-85 lens on it. When I mount this lens, I cannot get a sharp focus. Same thing with my EF 20-35 lens. Has anyone else run into this problem, or am I doing something wrong, or does the camera require servicing? Admittedly, this is a new camera for me. Thanks very much.

My first camera was an FTB from the PX. I have used EOS 620's EOS-3's, all sorts of Canon Rebels up to the T4I, and some of the Powershots. Still have a little Powershot 110, which is a great camera. This 200D, however, has some quirks of its own...will take some time to go through them all. I have a tendency to shoot both canon and Nikon, depending on mindset at the time. Thanks for sending some pointers.

You'll get it. Just takes some getting used to. Good luck.
