That was interesting, thanks. I was surprised at how little the various brightness settings affected the power drain - only about 10% between the dimmest and brightest setting. I also found it interesting how the much smaller viewfinder draws more current than the rear screen. I would not have expected that. The fact that focus motors and shutters draw about the same as the screen wasn't too much of a surprise. I would expect those to be big power users.
