Recently got the R5 MKII and I'm trying to set it up like my R5.
On the R5, I can quickly choose eye/face detection AF ('L'+Tracking) or regular cross point AF (Spot AF) from the AF Method quick menu. I find this really handy when I'm shooting because I can very quickly toggle this on and off with one hand.
On the R5 MKII, I dont see anywhere to quickly turn it on or off, I have to go into the custom controls and change button functionality to disable.
Any work arounds to get it to function more like the R5?

They renamed that AF mode on the R6 Mark II. They may have also renamed it on the R5 Mark II. But, selecting the mode has not changed. I suggest that you check what AF modes are available for selection. You know, the menu sccreen that shows those same AF icons, but with a checkbox underneath it?
