I've heard this is an issue, and I experienced it yesterday while shooting some birds. My R5 locked up about 5 times in a row during one session. Each time I took the battery out and it froze repeatedly. Eventually it stopped, but I was not too pleased. Are others having this issue, is canon going to fix it, and is there a way to go back to version 1.4 as an interim solution?

FWIW, I hadn't experienced the locking problem until yesterday. I shot a bunch of baseball over the two weeks after upgrading to 1.5.1 with no problems. But yesterday, my r6 hung almost constantly after getting a couple of hundred images in. Yesterday was the 1st time I'd shot with a single card in the camera. I eventually turned off the electronic shutter, but the game was about over so I can't say for sure if that solved it. I always shoot baseball with eye tracking on max framerate. I've upgraded to 1.5.2 now, but won't get to try it out until Thursday.
