Will a GP-E2 with its mini-B port connect to my 90D with a micro-B port?
The GP-E2 works great sitting on the 90D's hot shoe but can't use the flash. (The cables that came with the GPS are useless connecting to a my 90D.)
Thanks, Dave.

From the manual for the 90D:

All the listed items have been met. The GPS's firmware is 2.0.2.

Bullet 3 seems to say no. If you have the camera I guess you can try it.
Or give Canon a call at 1-800-OK-CANON.

You could be right about button 3. Dealing with Canon is a wast of time -- I've tried.
If my proposed cable doesn't cost an arm and a leg, I'd like to try Can you or anyone in the group confirm the port types are correct?
Thanks, again.

This from the specs for the 90D. The "For GP-E2 Connection" implies (or did I infer) I could do what I want to do?

I just saw the same thing and was going to post it. Definitely a conflict between the two statements.
