Hi, I am attempting to conect my dslr EOS 1300d to my laptop. I have pluged the camera into the comp., gone into EOS utility, clicked on utility launcher, the conect box comes up, I then click on pairing and when the next box comes up, with camera model, mac, IP address, the conect botton is greyed out. Can any one advise please?

If you turned WiFi off in the camera, then I don't know. You either need to try another camera or another computer. USB cables can go bad, so I would try another one.
All my cameras work on all my computers, though I don't use EOS Utility.

I encountered this same problem the first day I got my T6. The problem was the WiFi - I had to turn it off. It linked right up after I turned the WiFi off.
Not clear from the posts here if you tried this.

Hi, Axepilot, I have tried so many things with this problem and I am reasonably sure I have tried what you are suggesting, However: I will check and see if the wi fi is on or off. Thank you for your input.
Kind regards
Trev B.
