New Canon DSLR

Hi, let me know if you have an opinion or advise.

With there being only $100 difference between these 3, how do I choose?:

Rebel T7i, T6s and T6i with the 18-135 lens.

I want to upgrade from my 2007 400d, or Rebel XTi I believe it is called here in the States.  I don't have a big budget and I want to be able to use my existing 5 lenses on the new camera.

Thanks,

Sam 🙂

Is video important?

No I don't think so.

I have never used my DSLR for video before so I probably wouldn't start.

Then it probably is not too critical, but of course the T7i has a few more bells and whistles.

I think the actual picture quality is pretty comparable among them.

I've had a t6s for a few years, and I love it. My only beef is the lackof a headphone jack. This could be a problem if you shoot video. If you a primarily a still photographer this might not be an issue for you. The touch screen is really great, and you will quickly get spoiled. Picture quality is superb. Check out my Instagram page, @oldguywithacamera to see some of my shots with it.

Thanks, I couldn't see much difference in them and since it's 'only' $100 I suppose maybe I should go for the T7i, although it is another $100 lol

Thanks oldguy, I'm a bit old school and don't have instagram! Feel free to post a couple of pics on here, would love to see them.

Thanks, Sam

Ditto the T7i.  Smiley Happy

Thanks everyone, I think it's going to be the T7i.
