My pic display is only showing 2/3 the pic and, after viewing the pic from my PC

My display is only showing about 2/3 the pic and when I upload the memory card to my PC that is what actually is being taken by the camera.

Sounds like a defective card. Try a new card and see if that cures the problem.

When anything happens you don't know how, reset the camera back to factory defaults.  Try again.  If the condition remains try the next simplest step.  A new SD card and/or reader. A new USB cable or slot in the computer.  A new battery.  You know the easiest and cheapest.
